A healthy and functioning musculoskeletal system is not just important for your dog’s everyday life. It is also a significant determining factor of your darling’s quality of life. Similar to us humans, your dog can feel daily stress, as well. Understandably, the animal feels the urge to let his or her dog’s soul soar from time to time.  

PHYSIOTHERAPY and WELLNESS TREATMENT at CANIS RESORT is the perfect mix for your four-legged friend as it is part health protection and part absolute relaxation.  

During his or her stay, why not pamper your darling with a little journey into a regular dog’s paradise: with a wellness treatment for body and soul performed by an especially trained physiotherapist for dogs. Each appointment begins with a short check-up of the musculature, joints and spine regarding their mobility and algesia. If needs be, the animal can get a physiotherapeutic treatment directly on-site. Of course, we also offer subsequent and continued treatments in case there have already been prescriptions for treatments. Every treatment will be planned and arranged for each dog individually after consultation with dog mom or dad.  

Our principal goal, however, is that your dog can relax and take pleasure in the enjoyable and soothing treatments. The following methods of treatment are offered in line with our PHYSIOTHERAPY and WELLNESS TREATMENT program:

Beyond that, we offer a comprehensive anamnesis for your darling which takes approximately 60 to 90 minutes and is conducted in the dog owner’s presence. This offer includes an extensive gathering of information concerning the four-legged patient and a precise analysis of his or her physiological “status quo”. Further we analyse posture and gait, perform a palpation of the limbs and the trunk, and create an orthopaedic and neurological analysis.
